Mrs. Cecil Mahala Bell Resch, 95, of Pocola died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in Pocola. She was a homemaker, a member of Pocola Assembly of God and attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by five daughters, Flora King of Barling, Nellie Higgins of Spiro, Daisy Davis of Pocola, Marilyn Cothran of Plainview, Texas, and Carol Resch of Pocola; one son, Leon Resch of Pocola; one sister, Eletha Brewer of Farmersville, Calif.; two brothers, Harrison Brewer of Vasalia, Calif., and John Brewer of Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, and burial will follow at Barling Cemetery, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Resch, Cody Resch, Brent Spessard, Shalako Perry, Ron Ray and James McKinney.
