Wife of Frank Renshaw
Daisy Weir Renshaw, 92, of Fort Smith died Saturday, July 17, 2010, in Fort Smith.
She was born Nov. 16, 1917, in Booneville to James W. Womack and Martha J. McInturf Womack.
She was a member of Windsor Park Baptist Church and the American Business Women's Association, where she was named Woman of the Year at a convention in Hawaii. She was a graduate of Draughn's Business College, and she retired at age 52 from the Pepsi Cola Company as an inspector and bookkeeper. She enjoyed traveling to many foreign countries.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Lowder of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Ed Lowder of Muldrow and Theresa Wheeler of Fort Smith; 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Birch Weir and Frank Renshaw, and one grandson.
Private graveside services were held Monday at Barling City Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
