SPRINGDALE — Louise Combs, 93, of Springdale died Jan. 17, 2007, at Springdale. She was born Oct. 16, 1913, in Farmington to Robert C. and Minnie May Allen Gaskill.
She retired from Aerospace and was a member of Buckner Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She attended Silent Grove Baptist in Springdale and the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1932, as salutatorian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoot Combs and daughter, Neeta Cheatham.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Combs of California and Allen Combs of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, online at www.backstrom-pyeatte.com. The Rev. Larry Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Silent Grove Cemetery.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
