Tollice Whitson Wilson, 72, of Marvell went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 30, 2006, at the DeWitt Hospital in DeWitt, Arkansas. Tollice was born in Marvell, Arkansas on March 1, 1934 to the late Elbert Lee Whitson and the late Vera Lizzy Merritt Whitson. She was united in marriage to Harold Glen Wilson on August 19, 1990, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Tollice was a member of Marvell High School Class of 1953.
Tollice was a member of County Line Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard and canning. Tollice's greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Tollice is survived by her husband of almost 16 years, Harold Glen Wilson of Marvell, one son; Ronnie Perry George and wife Doyla of Marvell, three daughters; Connie George Cavette and husband Dennis of Marvell, Sheila George Reeves and husband Tommy of Marvell, and Penny George of DeWitt, Arkansas, seven grandchildren; Christy Cavette Davidson and husband Bert of Marvell, Tina Holloway Pelt and husband Kevin of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jennifer George Emery and husband Brian of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brooke Reeves of Marvell, Lindsey George of Union City, Tennessee, Taylor Meiers of Dewitt, and R.P. George of Marvell, and seven great-grandchildren; Priscilla and Mary Bella Pelt of Bentonville, Easton Davidson of Marvell, Landon Emery of Jonesboro, Brayden Thompson, Sarah Hubbard, and Braxton George of Union City, Tennessee, three brothers; Wilburn Whitson and wife Dorothy, Woodard Whitson and wife Louise, and Allen Whitson and wife Joyce. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Francis Shepley and Callie Michael as well as two grandchildren Shawn George and Haley Meiers.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Marvell, Arkanasas directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton, Arkansas with the Rev. Larry Rice officiating.
