Robert O’Neal Wilson, 81, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Wilson was born September 3, 1929 in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Clarence William Wilson and the late Icie Doria Hacker Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Inez Swindle Wilson; daughter, Pam Saia; five grandchildren, Amy Schwantz, Dana Dailey, Cheryl Moore, Keith Brown and Tisha Hooker; great-grandchildren, Laney Schwantz, Will Dailey, Carter and Sophie Moore, and Amber, Brandon and Cameron Hooker; five sisters, Mildred Russell of Earle, Arkansas, Marie Crawford (R.C.) of Texas, Joy Wagley (Larry) of Texas, Minnie Pearl Pluckett of Marion, Arkansas, and Laverne Robinson (Kenneth) of Tennessee; three brothers, Lloyd Wilson (Lois) of Hardy, Arkansas, Grandville Wilson of Earle, and Gene Wilson (Joyce) of Black Oak, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruby Parks and Maybell Hood; sons-in-law, Billy Saia and Dennis Brown.

Services for Robert Wilson will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Luke Watson will officiate.

Pallbearers are David Schwantz, Justin Dailey, Tyler Moore, Chucky Snowden, Jay Vantyle and Larry Russell. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Hood, Terry Hood, Steve Crawford, Stanley Crawford, Dewayne Whaley, Jimmy Wilson, David Wilson and Charles Tate.
