STRAWBERRY — Jesse Columbus Hoggard, 86, of Strawberry died Friday.
Survivors include granddaughters, Lisa (Greg), Sandy (Joey) and Tracy (Robert) Howard; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Courtney, Emma, Holden and Tinsley Howard, Kodi Clemons and Ashton Alls; brothers, Bartus and Charles Howard.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m Sunday at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Saffell Missionary Baptist Church with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry.
Pallbearers will be James, Paul, Jimmy, David, Ralph, Mitchell and Kevin Hoggard. Honorary pallbearers are the nurses and staff of Cave City Nursing Home.

Maye (Mullen) Hoggard, 77, of Strawberry died Oct. 31, 2005, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Aug. 3, 1928, at Strawberry, the daughter of Cleo and Rosa Green Mullen.
She was a homemaker and a member of Saffell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Hoggard, whom she married March 9, 1948; one brother, O.C. Mullen of Cave City; one sister, Noma Dejarnette of Strawberry; three granddaughters, Lisa Howard, Sandy Howard and Tracy Winters, all of Strawberry; five great-granddaughters, Chelsey Rackley of Strawberry, Ashton Alls of Greensboro, Ala., Courtney Rackley, Kodi Clemons and Emma Howard, all of Strawberry; two stepgrandsons, Joey Winters and Justin Winters, both of Strawberry; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held Nov. 2 at the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church in Saffell with Bro. Keith Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Lancaster Cemetery at Strawberry with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Brian Garland, Ronnie Walling, Lyndon Perry, Curt Howard, Robert Randolph and Robbie Mize.
Honorary pallbearers were Leon Walling, Miles A. Oliver, Prinston Gray, Charles Randolph and Junior Huskey.
