Ella (Reynolds) Black Messenger 97, of Hot Springs, passed away on September 25, 2008, at the Fountain Lake Health and Rehabilitation Facility of Hot Springs. Born on April 27, 1911, she was a daughter to the late Lonzo and Clemmie (Pearce) Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter L. Black.

She is survived by five children: Mildred Mallett of AR., Liz "Pete" Alumbaugh of MI., Nina (Troy) Parmer of MI., Judy (Joe) Paliana of MI. and Martin L. (Kaye) Black of OH. Additional survivors include many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Five brothers and sisters also survive Ella.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway, AR with Rev. Otis Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Republican Cemetery, Greenbrier, AR.
