Springdale — Benjamin Joye Johnston, 60, a retired Springdale farmer, died Sunday at his home. He was born July 25, 1895 at Habberton and was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are the widow, Mrs.
Clara Johnston of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Cloer, Mrs. Jaynell Holmsley and Mrs. Betty Jo Howerton, all of Springdale; two sons Benjamin Joye Jr of Elkins and Donald R. of El Segundo, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Zella Hale and Mrs. Dixie Martin of El Segundo; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Callison-Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery.
