Greta Nannette Duckworth, 41, died in her home at Hot Springs, Saturday night. She was born in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Gloria Beaver. She moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1970 with her parents and five brothers and sisters. She attended Pine Bluff schools and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. She graduated from the JRMC School of Radiology and worked for a period of time in the x-ray department at the hospital in Clarksville, Arkansas. She led aerobics classes at Jefferson Regional Wellness Center for a lengthy number of years. She attended classes at SEARK and John Brown University in Little Rock.
She grew up in the First Christian Church of Pine Bluff and became a member of Southside Baptist when she was an adult. There, she was active in Bible study group where, with her friends, she grew in her faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Ginnett of Pine Bluff; her husband, Dr. Thomas Duckworth of Jonesboro; her parents of Maumelle, Arkansas; a step-daughter, Heather Noel of Piggott; a step-son, Matthew Duckworth of Arkadelphia; three brothers, Nathan Beaver of Little Rock, Ned Beaver of Maumelle, and Neal Beaver of Okinawa, Japan; and two sisters, Priscilla Lipsmeyer of Little Rock and Ida Grissom of Lafayette, Louisiana.
She had a variety of pets as a child and enjoyed animals throughout her life. She loved her family and added vitality to any gatherings. She entered many races and won ribbons and plaques. She will be missed by her 11 nieces and 3 nephews who loved her deeply.
A memorial service will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300 at 11:00 a.m., Saturday.
