Funeral Services for N.D. "Doc" Posey, 62, who died early today in Forrest Memorial Hospital, will be held Friday in Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Omma L. Daniel will conduct the services, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Mr. Posey was born Dec.24,1904, at Des Arc, the son of Mrs. Lilly McFall Posey and N.D. Posey. He had lived at Madison since he was a child. A welder, he was a member of Madison Methodist Church and was an employee of St. Francis Material Co. He had been hospitalized in critical condition since undergoing surgery six weeks ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Yates Posey, whom he married in 1925; two half brothers, George Posey of Widener, and Charlie Posey of Belmont, Miss.; and three half sisters, Mrs. Maureen Walden of Paden, Miss., Mrs. Louise Armstrong of Inglewood, Calif., and Mrs. Mamie Dunhan of Memphis.
