Mrs. Edith Murrell Dies at Springdale
Mrs. Edith Murrell, 38, wife of Rev. Roy A. Murre11, pastor of the Springdale Assembly of God church, died late yesterday at Springdale after giving birth to a son.
Mrs. Murrell was an ordained minister in the Assembly of God church. She was born Dec. 18, 1903 in Jay, Okla.
Surviving with her husband are six children; Kenneth Murrell of Tulsa; Mrs. Thelma Marbison of Tu1sa; and Everett, Roy Jr., Melvin and Barbara, and the day-old baby, Edgar Ray, her mother, Mrs. J. W. Reed of Oklahoma City, and four brothers and two sisters also survive; Milton Reed of Houston; Frank, Will and Leland Reed of Oregon; Mrs. R. C. Glenn, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Rosie Bayless, Colcord, Okla.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly or God church at Springdale by Rev. Morris Malone of Wewoka, Okla., assisted by Rev. Omer Jarrell of Rogers. Burial will be in Rogers cemetery. The body is at Nelson-Savage funeral home pending arrival of relatives.
