James Ervin Bright, 73, of Judsonia, Ark died Friday, January 28, 2011. He was born September 15, 1937 to the late Rosco and Ruth (Cross) Bright in Lanpto, Arkansas. Mr. Bright was a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and he loved taking his grandchildren fishing. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patsy (Wells) Bright; son, Allen (Malinda) Bright; daughter, Lisa (Lowell) Williams; four grandsons, Joshua, Wesley (Courtney), Ryan and Randy; one great-granddaughter, Makayla; 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and 2 sister-in-laws. He also loved the Webb family as his own. James was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Powell Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 2 PM in the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
