Mrs. Levern Turner, age 92, of Forrest City, died Monday at the Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mrs. Turner was born September 2, 1917, in Moro, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Henry Stephens and Ruby Schanolf Stephens. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was a housewife, and attended the Oak Hill Church of God.
Mrs. Turner married Sam Turner and he preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Ann Minton of California, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one niece, Virginia Clark and husband, George, one nephew, Gene Stephens and wife, Jeanie, and several other nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Turner will be held Graveside, 10:00 A.M., Thursday at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
