Elsie Mae Skidmore Summers, daughter of the late Henry Skidmore and Ethel Jones Skidmore, was born July 27, 1929 in Dolph, Arkansas. She departed this life July 15, 2014 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84 years and 15 days. She was united in marriage to Elvin Summers to this union was born two sons. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. For many years she was employed as a nurses aid at White River Health Care in Calico Rock, Arkansas.
She is survived by two sons: Steve Withrow of Fox, Arkansas and Randy Summers of Dolph, Arkansas; one brother: Frank Skidmore of Billings, Montana; two sisters: Irene Hedrix of Peabody, Kansas and Cecil Robinson of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandchild: Seth Withrow of Midway, Arkansas; two great grandchildren: Kaiden Withrow and Khammi Withrow.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister: Vivian Dunican.
Graveside funeral service will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Trimble Campground Cemetery in Dolph, Arkansas under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home.
