Jeff Davis Williams of Forrest City, died at Forrest Memorial Hospital. Born in Cross County to John and Essie Hood Williams-He moved to Forrest City nine years ago, a retired General Electric Supervisor, and a veteran of WW II-Family: He leaves a wife, Ethel L. Smith Williams of the home; a daughter, Barbara A. Williams Collins of Ft. Worth, Texas; a brother, Clovis D. Williams; A sister, Maudie E.Voyles; six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ethel Louise Williams, age 89, of Vienna, Illinois, formerly of St. Francis County, died Friday at her home in Illinois. Her death came sudden and unexpected. Mrs. Williams was born May 15, 1921, in Arkansas, and lived in St. Francis County until moving to Illinois in 2000. She was employed by Rexnord Incorporated and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Palestine. Mrs. Williams married Jeff Williams and he preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Collins of Ft. Worth, Texas, two nephews, Richard Smith and Jerry Williams, two nieces, Mary Metcalf and Joyce Miller, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Williams will be held Graveside, 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
