Wife of Richard Hodges
Martha Lucille Hodges, 92, of Forrest City died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Forrest City. Mrs. Hodges was born April 12, 1917, at Cullman, Ala. She was the daughter of James Martin Raines and Arzilla Evelyn Keith Raines. She had made her home in Forrest City the past 65 years, was a housewife and a Baptist and had been a member of the Womens Home Demonstration Club.Mrs. Hodges married Richard "Dick" Hodges in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1994.She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Kelly of Mountain Home and Mable Dunavant Maxwell of Bryant; two sons, Richard Hodges of Jonesboro and Keith Hodges of Forrest City; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Stevens Funeral Home at Forrest City. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
