Mrs. Wanda Jean Phillips Sain, aged 48, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in an automobile accident. Mrs. Sain was born May 30, 1953, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Louis Phillips and Clemie Conner Phillips. She lived in St. Francis County most of her life, was an employee of Sanyo, and was a member of the Beck Spur Baptist Church. She married John Henry Sain in 1991, and he survives her, along with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Phillips of Forrest City; two daughters, Laura Cummings French and Terri Jo Cummings, both of Forrest City; two sisters, Linda Elliott of Harrison and Brenda White of Forrest City; a stepson, John Clayton Sain of Clarendon; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Sain of Clarendon and Jade Renee Reynolds of McCrory; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Services for Mrs. Sain will be held at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
