A Retired Farmer-Family:Survivors include his wife, Bennie Hand of the home; four daughters, Judy Terry of Farmington, Ark.Carolyn Hall of Walls, Miss., Dorothy Mills of Horn Lake, Miss., and Veta Trail of Forrest City; a son, Jimmy Hand of Forrest City; two brothers, Roy Hand of Caldwell and Dee Hand of Tyronza, Ark.; nine grandchildren, and two great grand children.

Mrs. Bennie Lou Hand, age 75, of Forrest City, died Friday, April 30, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.Mrs. Hand was born May 15, 1928, in Plantersville, Miss., the daughter of David Ernest Greenhill and Callie Ann Moore Greenhill. She made her home in Forrest City for most of her life, was a housewife and a Baptist. Mrs. Hand married Clifton Hand in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by four daughters, Judy Terry of Rogers, Carolyn Hall of Horn Lake, Miss, Dorotha Shelton of Hernando, Miss and Veta Trail of Forrest City; a son, Jimmy W. Hand of Forrest City; two sisters, Belle Hand and Pearl Roark both of Marked Tree; one brother, Charles Greenhill of Albertsville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Hand were held on Monday, May 3, 2004, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Dean Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
