Mr. Lee Roy Hand age 96, of Mark Tree, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro.
Mr. Hand was born April 29, 1914 in Parkin, Arkansas. He was the son Charlie Lee Hand and Nancy Ann French. Mr. Hand was a farmer and a Baptist.
Mr. Hand married Eula Bell Hand in 1939 and she preceded him in death in 2005. Six daughters survive him, Frances Hall and Louise Livingston both of Mark Tree, Shirley Turley of Wynne, Faye Harrison of Hunter, Connie Elmore of Truman and Brenda Nofzinger of Hunter. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 2:00 at Stevens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Saturday at the funeral home. Visit online registry at Stevens funeral home.net. Under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eula Bell Hand, age 83, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Hand was born May 16, 1922, in Alabama, the daughter of Ernest Greenhill and Callie Moore Greenhill. She had lived in Marked Tree for the past 13 years, was a housewife and a Baptist. Mrs. Hand married Leroy Hand in 1939, and he survives her along with six daughters, Francis Hall and Louise Livingston, both of Marked Tree, Shirley Keeling of Forrest City, Faye Harrison and Brenda Nofzinger, both of Hunter and Connie Elmore of Las Cruces, N.M.; a brother, Charles Greenhill of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Pearl Roark of Marked Tree; 38 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Marie Hand, and two sons, James William Hand and Roy Amas Hand. Visitation for Mrs. Hand will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2005, with Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
