Mary Gwendolyn Kuhre, 81, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Kuhre was born April 9, 1932 at Marianna, Arkansas to the late A.H. Taylor and the late Annie Christine Tucker Taylor Coe. She was a member of Barton Baptist Church and owner of West Acres Orchards.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen West (Rick Webb) of Jackson, Tennessee, Jimmie Kaye Moise of Tunica, Mississippi, and Julie Potts of London, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Mike Hallum; and one brother, Tommy Taylor (Ollie) of Batesville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James H. Kuhre; a daughter, Sheri Hallum; and two sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held for Mary G. Kuhre, Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park at West Helena. Reverend Rodger Hooker will officiate.
Pallbearers are Jim Potts, Rick Webb, Keith Moise, Freddy Gray, Rhett Mauldin and Jerdie Lambert.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Center or to the Humane Society of the Delta.
