Sept 17,1907-June 14,1970
Services were held at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville Tuesday afternoon for Charles W. McDaniel, 62, who died at Doctor's Hospital Sunday after a brief illness. Dr. Virgil Keeley officiated and burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. McDaniel was the father of Bob G. McDaniel of Caruthersville. He also leaves his wife, Mrs. Edith Kelly McDaniel of Blytheville; another son, Charles Gene McDaniel of Chicago; a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Born in Fayetteville, Tenn., he moved to Blytheville in 1909 and was a member of First United Methodist Church there. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Chickasawba Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He was an electronics salesman.
