March 10, 1885 - November 27, 1967
Ira Young, 80 of Reader died about 6 a.m. Monday in the Ouachita Hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired fireman for Reader Railroad after serving 40 years with the company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Chidester. Survivors include his wife, Clara, two sons, James of Gurdon and Donald who is in the Coast Guard serving in Alaska, two daughters, Mrs. John Mador of Camden and Mrs. Carl Cornelius of Gary, Indiana, 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral will be by Camden Funeral Service. (Camden News - November 27, 1967)
