Erma Starnes, 90, of Blytheville, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at the Memorial Nursing Center.
She was born June 26, 1913, in Tiptonville, Tenn., the daughter of Joe and Myrtle Dillinger Adkins.
She was a homemaker, a longtime Blytheville resident, and affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being a grandma, and loved cooking.
She is survived by her children, Clarence A. Starnes of Thayer, Mo., Joyce Loyd and Brenda Behlmer, both of Blytheville, and Virginia Reams of Conway; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Starnes, and a son, Eugene Starnes.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Robert White and Rev. Larry Pierce officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
