W.C. Webb, 71, a retired farmer of the Oak Ridge Community, Route One, Steele, died April 21 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.
Born at Mountain View, Ark., he had been a resident of this community since 1938. He was a member of the Holland Baptist Church.
Mr. Webb leaves his wife, Mrs. Juanita Moody Webb of the home; Two sons, Harlyn Webb and Dene Webb, both of Blytheville; Two daughters, Mrs. Nathan Summitt of Holland and Mrs. James Permenter of San Diego; Four brothers, B.M. Webb, Eldy Webb, and D.A. Webb, all of Blytheville, and Joe H. Webb of Steele; Two sisters, Mrs. R.L. Parker of Indio, Calif., and Mrs Mary Kennedy of Mira Loma, Calif.; Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were April 24 in Blytheville. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery.
Pall bearers were R.L. Rogers, V.M. Jones, Herchell Burress, Henry Neal, Witt Smith, and Herman Via.

Mrs. Juanita Webb, 92, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at her home. Born September 27, 1907, in Mountain View, the daughter of the late J.N. and Mae Gilstrap Moody, she was a longtime resident of Blytheville and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Webb, one son, Harlyn Webb, and one brother, Corbin Moody.
Mrs. Webb leaves one son, Dene Webb of Blytheville; Two daughters, Nancy Summitt of Blytheville and Donna Permenter of Millington, TN; and Muriel Dearien of Mountain View; Six grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; and Two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 7, 2000, at 3:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Rawls and Steve Harris officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
