HUDSON, Sarah E. - Mrs. Hudson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jonah Berry, north of town Sunday afternoon and funeral services were held at the home conducted by Rev. Guthrie, pastor of the Presbyterian church. She leaves to mourn her departure besides the daughter, four sons, Joe, George, Gilbert and Price, all of Rogers, and a large number of other relatives.

Mrs. Sarah E. Hudson was born in Jackson county, Tenn. in 1840. When a child she came with her parents to Huntsville, Ark. In 1857 she was married to C.W. Hudson, to which union ten children were born, five of whom are deceased. Her husband died in 1879. In 1894 she came with her children to Rogers and has since made her home here. She died at her home after a short illness on December 28, 1918. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined the Cumberland Presbyterian church of Alabam, Ark., later transferring her membership to the Rogers church. She is survived by four sons and one daughter, all of Rogers. They are C.P. Hudson, J.E. Hudson, G.W. Hudson, G.I. Hudson and Mrs. Lydia Berry. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R.B. Guthrie on Dec. 30. Interment in City cemetery.
