Loretta S. Hankins, 60, of Cecil, died on Monday, December 27, 2004 in Cecil. She was born on October 3, 1944 in Little Rock to Homer Steed and Opal Mae Haynie Steed. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004 at Riverdale Free Will Baptist Church with burial following at Island Cemetery northeast of Lavaca all under the direction of Smith Mortuary, Inc. of Charleston.
She is survived by her husband, Dempsey Hankins of the home.
Pallbearers were Michael Nichols, Jessy Nichols, Bryan Nichols, Howard Smithson, Joe Long and Johnny Raines.
