Mrs. Helen A. Killett, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born in Memphis to George T. and Helen Byrnes Acree. She attended the University of Memphis where she met the love of her life, Jim Killett. They were married for 66 wonderful years.
Mrs. Killett will best be remembered by her family as a loving mother and devoted wife. She was a lifetime member of the Episcopal Church and an active member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Blytheville for many years. One of her greatest joys was the Explorers Bible Study group and the bond she had with her friends in the group.

Her other passions in life were Cardinals baseball and the Arkansas Razorbacks. She had many friends in her final years at Elmcroft and will dearly be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Killett; two sisters, Betty Bridges and Jean Acree; and three brothers, George, Bill and Ben Acree.
