BELLA VISTA -- June Blecke, 76, of Bella Vista died June 10, 2004, at her home. She was born June 23, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to Earl and Augusta Eckholm. She was the salutatorian of her high school graduation class and the president of Alpha Beta Mu sorority of Wright Junior College in Chicago. She sang in the Chicagoland Lutheran Choir and in various church choirs. She was a housewife, but also worked for IBM, Luther High (north of Chicago) and the Jewel Tea Co. She loved gardening, housekeeping and reading, and participated in golf and bridge groups.
Survivors include her husband of more than 55 years, Arthur E. Blecke; three children; five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bella Vista Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Lutheran Church Debt Retirement Fund, 1900 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, 72715.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
