SPRINGDALE — Elsie Beatrice "Bea" Vansandt, 92, of Springdale died Aug. 12, 2006, at Earleae Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. She was born March 22, 1914, in Springdale to William Winford and Lorena Welch Parsley.

She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church and Fishback Home Demonstration Club. She was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm.

She was preceded in death by husband Wayne Vansandt, to whom she was married Nov. 19, 1932.

Survivors include two daughters, Edna Smith and her husband Lon and Nettie Everett, all of Springdale; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Ron Parsley officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Everett, Steve Everett, Chad Everett, Tim Smith, Paul Karlin, John Stephen and Steve Dixon.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale.
