Sept 10,1924-Sept 19,1988
Everett Andrew Baughman, 64, of HCR 66, Box 49, Witter, Ark., died Sept. 19, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1924, at Alabam, Ark., the son of John Wesley and Mamie Williams Baughman. He was a retired sawmiller.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Betty Martin Baughman of the home; two sons, Johnny Baughman of the home and Jerry Baughman of Aurora; four daughters, Mrs. Jenny Lee Spratt of Kingston, Mrs. Linda Barksdale of Witter, Mrs. Genevieve Ramsey of Hilltop, and Miss Rosalie Baughman of the home; three stepsons, Carl Hooper and Larry Hooper, both of Cherryvale, Kan., and Gary Hooper of Wesley; 12 grandchildren; and 8 step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Cove Cemetery with the Rev. Porter Bryant officiating. Interment will be in the Cove Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Mrs. Betty Jean Baughman, 67, of HC 66, Box 49-A, Witter, Ark., died June 19, 1992, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Nov. 13, 1924, at Pettigrew, the daughter of Howard R. and Ida Mae Cowan Martin. She was a homemaker and the widow of Everett Andrew Baughman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1988.
Survivors include five sons, Carl Hooper and Larry Hooper, both of Cherryvale, Kan., Gary Hooper of Huntsville, Johnny Baughman of the home, and Jerry Baughman of Witter; four daughter, Mrs. Jenny Spratt of Kingston, Mrs. Genevieve Ramsey of Huntsville, Mrs. Linda Barksdale of Witter, and Miss Rosie Baughman of the home; four brothers, Elmer Martin of Springdale, Milburn Martin and Orville Martin, both of Pettigrew, and James Martin of Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Maggard of Springdale; 20 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Porter Bryant officiating. Interment was in Cove Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Hurshel Johnson, Melvin Maggard, Charles Williams, Craig Williams, Larry Hooper II, Heath Barksdale, and Allen Varner.
