Helen Faye Leatherbury, 86, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died October 4, 2010 at her home. She was born September 8, 1924 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel Spurgeon and Artie Mae Smith Reynolds. She had retired as a beautician and hair stylist in Huntsville after about forty-five years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saint in Huntsville and had served a mission for the Church at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City in 2001-2002. She was a fifty year member and Past Worthy Matron of Huntsville Chapter #487, The Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Cecil E. Leatherbury and a son, Dale E. Leatherbury.

Survivors include: one son, William "Bill" Frank Leatherbury and his wife, Susan of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Perron and her husband, Kevin of Hagerman, Idaho; two grandsons, William "Bill Frank Leatherbury of Kansas City, Missouri and Drew Douglas Leatherbury of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four granddaughters, Sarah Leatherbury of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kathleen "Katie" Marie Leatherbury of Provo, Utah, Janese Leatherbury of Denver, Colorado and Evonne Michelle Leatherbury of Hagerman, Idaho; and two great-granddaughters, Verona Marie Leatherbury and Siena Rose Leatherbury, both of Kansas City, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, October 9, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with President C. Michael Weickersheimer officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery with Eastern Star rites by Huntsville Chapter #487, The Order of the Eastern Star. Pallbearers will be: Jack Rightsell, Michael Parry, Ed West, Bruce Childs, Kevin Perron and John Tenberge. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Huntsville.

Memorials may be made to the Madison County Senior Activity Center, 903 North College Avenue, Huntsville, Arkansas.
