Jeanie Sue (Pittaway) Trussell, 27, left us to become a beautiful angel on Sunday, September 29, 2013. While delighting in that knowledge, she will be so missed by her family and many friends.
Jeanie was born December 20, 1985, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to proud parents, Ken and Wanda Pittaway, and big sister, Rachael. She married her long-time best friend, Matt Trussell on September 22, 2012. They lived in New Braunfels, Texas, until early 2013, when they moved to their current home in Springfield, Missouri. Jeanie attended Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. Dancing was one of her loves during that time and she was a member of a National Championship dance team, bringing much Mojo pride to her friends, family, and school.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Trussell; parents, Ken and Wanda Pittaway; sister, Rachael Pittaway; parents-in-law, Charles and Kerry Trussell; sisters-in-law, Cris and Beth Trussell; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends all over the country.
A celebration of Jeanie's life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, October 5, 2013, in the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic, Springfield, MO, 65807. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services. Online condolences may be made at www.midwestfuneralservices.com.
