Inez Chapple, 94, of Lepanto, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 19, 2013, at her residence in Lepanto.
She was born Dec. 18, 1919.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Troy Chapple; her parents, Henry Dillard and Mattie Sims Dillard; daughter, Dorothy Adams; grandaughter, Cindy Powell; and 13 siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie Sue Huddleston of New Orleans, Ellen (Jerry) Hall and Joyce (Nathan) Powell of Marion and Donna Fires of Marked Tree; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children and eight great-great-grandchildren.
An active and dedicated member of the Lepanto Church of Christ, Mrs. Chapple's greatest joy was in her church work, serving her Lord. She was a very active member of the community, spending her time and energy volunteering at Stevens Square and participating in the senior citizens olympics. She was crowned Miss Senior NEA at the age of 80.
Services were held in the Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto. Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
