Mrs. A.J. Jackson (Gertrude May), 77, Rt. 6, Springdale, died Jan. 25 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born May 2, 1900, in Pearce City, Tenn., she was the daughter of Jeff and Nora Schaffer Wilson and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, A.J. Jackson of the home; one son. Buddy Jackson of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Verna Nichols of Weatherford, Okla., Mrs. Kathleen Garrett of Bentonville and Mrs. Levenie Young of Springdale; one brother, Mack Wilson of Cleveland, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lillie King of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Clifford Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns. Visitation hours are 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Burns.
