Proverbs 31:29-30 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
This passage says it all about the wife, mother and grandmother Mrs. Shinall was; but most of all, the devoted Christian life she led. Her love and example will forever live in the hearts of her family.
Mrs. Jimmie Shinall, 84 of Lepanto went to be with her Lord at 1 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Willowbend Nursing home in Marion, AR. Born July 6, 1929 to Hubert and Lera Jones in Booneville, Mississippi, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ruben (Buster) Shinall, a daughter Jimmie Hester and a son, Ruben Glenn.
Survivors include children; Peggy Foshee (Ray) of Collierville, TN, John Shinall (Brenda) of Lepanto, AR, Anna Buck (Doyle) of West Memphis, AR; Five grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers are Charlie Williams, Terry Williams, Max Williams, Jeremy Shinall, Randall Buck, Tanner Pounders; Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Clark and Clay Bradford.
Visitation will be Friday, February 21 at 1 pm at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, with Funeral services at 2 pm. Huey Meherg will officiate. Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
