Genevieve Easterling, 92, of Huntsville died April 3, 2008, in Huntsville. She was born June 23, 1915, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Albert and Bertha Freeman Simpson.
She and her husband operated Easterling Maytag and Appliance in Huntsville for many years. She was a member of North Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville and had been a longtime member of Huntsville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell Easterling.
Survivors include a son, Gary Easterling of Huntsville; two sisters, Mayme LaClede Staggs of Springdale and Mable LaClare Brown of Fayetteville; a grandson, Stacy Easterling of Huntsville; a granddaughter, Gara Mosier of Huntsville and four great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with Larry Combs and Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Huntsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allan Brown, William Staggs, Victor Graham, Dana Samples, Joe Shrum and Bob Bolinger.
