James Thomas Bolinger, 76, of Huntsville died Thursday in the Madison County Hospital. Born Jan. 24, 1897 in Madison county, the son of Henry H. and Mary Ann Parker Bolinger, he was a member of the Holiness Church.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Alice Johnson Bolinger of the home; four sons, J. L. of Nortonville, Kan., Art of the home; Joe of Wesley and Charles of Independence, Mo.; nine daughters, Mrs. Maxine Beal and Miss Lorene Bolinger both of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Tina Carter, Mrs. Norma Walden and Mrs. La Vera McFee all of Huntsville, Mrs. Vina Kidd of Little Rock, Mrs. Lucille Collins of Springdale, Mrs. Polly Majors of Beaumont, Tex. and Miss Mary Bolinger of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Tennie Bowman of Springdale and Mrs. Carrie Dotson of Ontario, Calif.; 27 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Huntsville's First Assembly of God Church with burial in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashear's Funeral Home.

Alice Alma Bolinger, 88, of 112 Cedar Heights, Huntsville, Arkansas, died September 27, 1999 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born January 16, 1911 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the daughter of James Henry William Lorenza Dow and Josephine Frances Milam Johnson. She was a homemaker and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville. She was the widow of James Thomas Bolinger whom she married on September 21, 1927 and who preceded her in death on January 17, 1974. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Art Bolinger and Joe Bolinger, one daughter, Mary Annis Tuttle, two grandsons and one great-grandson.
Survivors include: two sons, J.L. Enis Bolinger of Nortonville, Kansas and Charles Junior Bolinger of Edwards, Missouri; eight daughters, Alma Maxine Beal, and Vera Lorene Bolinger, both of Wichita, Kansas, Tine Mae Lawson, Vina Vae Kidd, Norma Jean Walden and LaVera Lee McFee, all of Huntsville, Rosie Lucelle Collins of Springdale and Polly Ann Majors of Beaumont, Texas; twenty nine grandchildren; fifty two great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 30, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Roy I. Cain and Rev. Ronnie Wiles officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Charles Jay Bolinger, John Arthur Bolinger, Terry Beal, L.D. Lawson, Nathan Walden, Thomas Majors, Wayne Bolinger, Larry Bolinger, Jim Bolinger, Gary Bolinger, Danny Walden, Chip Majors and Michael Majors.
