Guy Edward Honeysuckle, 77, of Bee Branch, died Thursday (Sept. 27, 2001).
Born June 13, 1924, in the Liberty community, a son of John Martin and Lue Ella Rouse Honeysuckle, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Honeysuckle; and one sister, Ruby Burroughs.
Survivors include two brothers, Hershall Richards of Salt Lake City and Gilbert Honeysuckle of North Little Rock; two sisters, Alpha Caudle of Mayflower and Dacla Adams of Vilonia; six sons, Louis Hayden of Pleasant Plains, Jerry Honeysuckle of Kokomo, Ind., Travis Gene Honeysuckle of Tejada, N.M., Owen Honeysuckle of Sherwood, Mark Bitner of North Little Rock and William Rod Bitner of Ida; four daughters, Charlotte Bitner of Heber Springs, Mavis Bitner Barley of Heber Springs, Terry Conway of Bald Knob and Penny Barkdull of Sherwood; 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at New Liberty Cemetary with Johnny Tew officiating.
