BENTONVILLE — Alice Ilene McNickle, 93, of Bentonville, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. She was born in 1917 in Kilgore, Neb., the daughter of the late William Edwin and Irena Marshall.

She enjoyed studying the Bible and sharing the Bible's truths with others. She was a member of the Bentonville Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph McNickle; and siblings, Millie Webb, Victor Marshall, Edwin Marshall, George Marshall, Gertrude Galino, Helen Hannah, Pearl Stewart, Eva Hoffman and Mary Stotts.

She is survived by her son, Robert McNickle and wife, Karen, of Lehi, Utah; daughters, Jennie Jessup and husband, Logan, of Bentonville and Sharon Horton and husband, Ronald, of Longmont, Colo.; sisters, Josephine Olson and husband, Harold, and Rosie Sullivan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Bentonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2501 S.W. 14th St., with Dan Roberts officiating.

All arrangements were made under the direction of Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark.
