Sarah Ann Boone-Bullington was born to Ann Hardy and Allen Boone, in Athens Tennessee, December 3, 1839 and married William James Bullington January 13, 1858, in McMinn County, Tennessee, eleven children were born from their marriage, most in Tennessee their children include Theodesia E, Mary A, John Scruggs, John C, Jesse Allen, AC Dayton, Alice Sarah, Grace Truman, Baxter Lee, Walter R, and Emma Cyless Bullington, the Bullingtons moved to Sebastian County Arkansas in the early 1880's where they lived out their lives, Sarah and her husband are buried at Steep Hill Cemetery
*Per contributor, DeLories Robinson Vaughn, who is related by marriage, Sarah Ann Boone Bullington was the great-great niece of the historic Daniel Boone, her relationship was noted as follows:
Sarah Boone's parents were: Allen Boone 1816-1855 Kentucky and Ann Hardy, Allen Boone's parents were: Israel Boone 1780-1839 North Carolina/Tennessee and Elizabeth Rebecca Moore 1787-1849 Tennessee, from there Israel Boone's parents were: Jesse Boone 1748-1829 Pennsylvania/Tennessee and Sarah McMahan 1750- ? North Carolina/Tennessee his parents were: Israel Boone 1726-1756 Pennsylvania/North Carolina and Martha LNU 1728-1756 Pennsylvania/North Carolina, finally Israel parents were: Squire Boone 1696-1765 Devonshire England/North Carolina and Sarah Jarman Morgan 1700-1777 Pennsylvania/North Carolina AND they were the parents of Daniel Morgan Boone 1734-1820 Pennsylvania/Missouri who was married to Rebecca Ann Bryan 1738-1813 now both, Daniel Boone and Rebecca died in Missouri
but it wasn't until 1845 that their remains were removed to Frankfort, Franklin County, Kentucky
