Monday, October 18, 1976
Elmer Douglas, 67, Rt. 3, Springdale, died Oct. 17, in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born March 16, 1909, at Caldwell, Kan., to Ernest and Jewel Rapholtz Douglas, he was a farmer and a member of the First Christian Church of Springdale. He moved to Springdale in 1961 from Moline, Kan.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chloe Parson Douglas of the home; one son, Larry Douglas, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Doy (Betty) Webb, Owasso, Okla., and Mrs. Leonard (Marlene) Keeling, Houston, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Jewel Murphy, Rogers; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Howell, Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco chapel with burial in Friendship Cemetery.
