SPRINGDALE— Sarah Elizabeth Tucker Gibbs, age 102, of Springdale, died Oct. 13, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Oct. 3, 1908, at Whorton Creek, Ark., to Tom and Mirtie Clines Tucker. She was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale and enjoyed gardening, canning and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Gibbs; and two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by three daughters, Oneta Miller and husband, Clifford, of Sonora, and Juanita Bohannan and Vernell Morton, both of Springdale; one sister, Rosa Lee Phillips of Berryville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Paul Payne and the Rev. Dusty Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Lyndall Lane, Dennis McCurdy, Larry Barnes, Jeff Woods, Chad Amos, James Raley and David Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Morton, Gary Morton, Taylor Drake, Colby Drake, Kirby Clark, Wyatt Clark, Ayden Raley, Brian Woods and Clifford Miller.
