Marion "Honey" Sorrells Robertson, age 79, of Russellville, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home at Russellville.
She was born September 20, 1932, at Beaumont Texas, to the Rev. Rufus Ford and Dorothy Elizabeth Tally Sorrells.
She was a retired school teacher from the Hope School District in Hope Arkansas, a member of the First Methodist Church of Russellville and formerly in Hope where she taught Sunday school. She was a published author of the book, "Stepping Stones for Today's Christian".
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dottie Sorrells.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Robertson: two sons, Robert and Becky Robertson of Camden Arkansas, and Mark and Niccole Robertson of Hope, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Roy Smith. Burial will be by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
