Dawna Jan White
Dawna Jan White, of Viola, Ark., daughter of Kay Silvey Comstock and the late Darrell Comstock, was born Dec. 20, 1982, in Caney, Kan. She died July 16, 2005, at Salem at the age of 22. She was a 1999 graduate of Viola High School. She married Timothy Wayne White on March 3, 2000, at Viola. She was a homemaker and a member of Enterprise Baptist Church of Viola.
Survivors include her children -- Destiny White of Viola, Braden White of Viola, and Kaylee Stephenson of Jonesboro; her mother and step-father, Kay Comstock and C.C. Wright of Viola; her brother, J.D. Comstock of Henderson; her sisters -- Amanda Comstock of Doniphan, Mo., and Michelle Tyler of Ash Flat; step-brothers and sister -- Reese Wright, Leesa Brown and C.J. Wright all of Viola; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral service was held July 21 at Cox-Blevins Chapel, with burial in the Elizabeth Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
Pallbearers were Terry Roper, J.D. Comstock, Gary Williams, Phillip Cotter, Wayne Hutson and Trey Dobson.
Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Owens and Charles (Bubba) Mullins.
