Franklin McKay, age 88, of Morrilton, passed away on Monday March 3, 2014. Mr. McKay was born January 18, 1926, in Muskogee, OK a son to the late William Henry McKay and Charlotte Roland McKay.
Mr. McKay was of the Baptist Faith, a World War II Army Veteran, and he retired as a supervisor from Corrugated Boxes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris, grandson: Derek Deaver, four brothers, and three sisters.
Mr. McKay is survived by Three Sons: Michael McKay of Morrilton, Ronald McKay and wife Lou of Morrilton; Timothy McKay of Marion, AR; Daughter: Rebecca James and husband Dennis of Solgohachia; Two sisters: Mary Alice Holland of Mayflower and Lucy Roberts of Bakersfield, CA; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Services will be 10AM, Friday, March 7, with visitation 1 hour prior to services in the chapel of Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home, Morrilton. Interment will follow in Old Salem Cemetery.
