Ivory Ann Dillon Gray, 89, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 21, 2003. Born in Lone Pine, Arkansas, on October 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Charley L. and Dellar (Heffner) Dillon. On May 17, 1931, she was married to Joe T. Gray, and they were married for seventy-two years. Mrs. Gray was a mother and homemaker, and she was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Floyd J. Gray, and one daughter, Maxine Gray. Survivors include her husband, Joe T. Gray of Greers Ferry, AR, one daughter, Mary Lou Griggs of Greers Ferry, AR, one sister, Illar Dillon of Nacogdoches, Texas, two granddaughters, Vicky Lou Lockard and Treva Ann James, three stepgrandchildren, Valerie Davis, Ann Guthrie, and Sandra Perkins, five great-granddaughters; six stepgreat-grandchildren two great, great grandsons, four nephews, and six nieces. Mrs. Gray is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Joe T. Gray, 96, of Greers Ferry was born in Shiloh, Arkansas, on January 7, 1912. The day came when our Lord and Savior looked down upon Southridge Nursing Home and took my father by the hand to join my mother on September 17, 2008. He had called upon her so many times in the past few weeks that it came time for him to join her.

He was the son of Joe and Pearl (Brady) Gray. He professed his faith at an early age at the Shiloh Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Ivory Ann (Dillon) Gray; one son, Floyd J. Gray; and one daughter, Maxine Gray.

Mr. Gray retired from Olivette Supply Company in Greers Ferry, Arkansas.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Griggs of Greers Ferry; one brother, Paul Gray of Searcy; five grandchildren and their spouses, Vicky Lou and Lynn Lockard, Treva Ann and Rodney James, Valerie and Tony Davis, Sandra Perkins, and Ann and Larry Guthrie; nine great grandchildren, and nine great, great grandchildren; four nephews and four nieces. Mr. Gray is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
