Funeral services were conducted at 3PM Sunday at the Fairview Church for Mrs. Hampie Lucy Greenwood, aged 75, of Route 2, Mt. Home, who died Thursday in a local hospital. Rev. Harvey Hazelwood and Rev. Troy Melton officiated. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Mrs. Greenwood, a native of (unreadable) was born December 21, 1885. She was a member of the Methodist Church and had resided in this community for the past 20 years.
Survivors are a son, Ray Greenwood of Detroit, MI; three daughters, Mrs. Lucile Walker and Mrs. Virginia Hurst of Mt. Home and Mrs. Mable Wright of Memphis, TN; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and s sister, Mrs. Dannie Garrett of Texas.
Pallbearers were Leon Lonon, Neil Dilbeck, Hobert Pitchford, Louis Knight, Marshall Knight and Billy Buchanan.
