Samuel Huey Yeakley, 81 years old, of 311 Vine Street, Van Buren, Arkansas died Thursday, December 29, 1967 in a local hospital. He was born November 30, 1885 in Stone county, Arkansas but had lived in Crawford county most of his live. He was a retired employee of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of the Fourth Street Free Will Baptist church in Van Buren.

Survivors are two sons, Amos, and George Yeakley of Fort Smith (now deceased March,1968;three daughters, Edna of Van Buren, Gladys of Cypress, California and Dorothy of Fort Smith; one brother of Tuttle, Oklahoma; 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fourth Street church with Rupert Pixley and Bob Shoemake, the officiating ministers. Burial was in Hall cemetery at Natural Dam was directed by Edwards Funeral Ho
