Tarver Robertson Smith, 98, of Siloam Springs died Dec. 14, 2007, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. She was born Feb. 18, 1909 in Jonesboro, La., to Hugh and Bertha Sutton Robertson.
She was a graduate of John Brown University where she later worked as a secretary in alumni services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Smith, in 1997, and one son, Richard Hugh Smith, in 1951.
Survivors include three daughters, Thera Barber of Siloam Springs, Ruth Ronan of Albuquerque, N.M., Tarver Jo LamNang of Florence, Italy; three grandchildren, Gine LamNang, Gianni LamNang and Gregory LamNang; one sister, Mildred Walker of Albuquerque.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, www.wassonfuneralhome.com. Dr. Steve Abbott and Dr. Jim Walters will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
