Roy B. Rudy, 97, of Lake Kiowa, Texas, formerly of Van Buren, Arkansas died Thursday, March 24, 2005, in Denton, Texas. He was born May 24, 1907, in Rudy, Arkansas, which was named after his grandfather. He worked for 30 years at Acme Bed and Mattress, later known as Coffee Furniture, and managed the Pavilion Apartments in Van Buren, retiring at age 90. He was the widower of Grace Rudy and Golden Rudy.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
